Oh, happy day.

Despite my inner paranoid's niggling presence, I am now fully registered in all the courses I need. As of two minutes ago (of me sitting down to type, anyway) I found the long-sought opening in the one course I really need but couldn't get into previously. This Makes Me Happy, as my schedule is now at an optimum. What is this optimum, you ask?

My classes only run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have two classes that run 12:30-1:50 and 2:00-3:20 on those days, with a third class Tuesday evenings. Which means that once my life settles down a touch, I can reasonably expect to be working on weekdays without too much conflict. Granted, the odds of my ideal job (Monday through Friday at the same company that employed me all this summer) being offered to me are slim, but I can hope. I would prefer not to sling coffee or stock shelves, but a job is a job.

Having now achieved my schedule, I am now free to brave the bookstore. Wooo.

On another note, I noticed something curious about the lecture theatre seat I secured this afternoon in V-Wing. Carved on the desk surface were the words "Skinny Puppy". As I know for a fact that this section of V-Wing is commonly used for History and Classics courses (this is only the third or fourth I alone have had in the two lecture theatres I refer to), I can't help but wonder. Does a certain History major with a fondness for Skinny Puppy know anything about how these words came to be carved there?

Yes, and that's why you were able to detail the precise location of the desk in question.

Purely coincidental! Circumstantial! Cinderella chimney cachet cocaine frenzy! Reasonable doubt demands I be found innocent.

Running for the border under cover of random alliterative rambling,
